Built in 1760 of sturdy local
granite and a grade II listed building, Crebinick House retains
a timeless charm, and having been a guest house since before
World War II, it exudes a universal welcome and hominess all
of its own.
We took over Crebinick House
in 1984 and have gradually renovated and redecorated to provide
its present level of comfort and facilities: all bedrooms have
en suite shower and WC, hot drink facilities, hair drier, radio
and TV.We have a separate sitting room for our guests where you
can sit and relax; borrow one of our many books or chat with
new companions. Over the years we have been delighted to welcome
back many guests who have returned to us again and again.Their
recommendation together with the national awards from the Automobile
Association and the English Tourism Council should assure you,
the new visitor, that you will find warmth, comfort and quality
in everything within our walls.
Running Crebinick has been our
business for 17 years and, naturally, we have a vested interest
in getting things right and making sure that our visitors enjoy
their stay in our home and on the islands. During that time we
have accrued a lot of local knowledge and we are well versed
in what our visitors want and like. We are only too happy to
chat to you at any time so that you can benefit from the knowledge
that we have acquired.
